The emphasis within all areas of the curriculum is developing a work ethos where children are aware of the importance of their own hard work, perseverance and independence when approaching all tasks. Speaking & Listening, cooperation, respect and a willingness to 'have a go' will also be continually developed though all activities during the school year.

Throughout all of the learning at Millfields, the School's core values are taught and expected to be developed within all children:

  • Respect
  • Equality
  • Perseverance
  • Confidence
  • Caring
  • Sharing
  • Democracy
