Autumn 2021

Maths

Please continue to use Times Table Rockstars to practise your multiplication.

Additional maths work can be found on the National Academy website Maths lesson units for Year 5 students - Oak National Academy (thenational.academy)- Please complete the following units- Reasoning with large whole numbers and Problem solving using addition and subtraction.

English

For English, I would like the children to use the oak academy lessons. Please complete the writing unit -How to Train Your Dragon and the Demon Dentist by Daid Walliams reading unit.

Reading

Below is a link to the Oxford Owl free E-book library. There is a wide range of E-books available for your child to read on their own or share with an adult. You are required to create a login to access these but it is all free of charge.

Spelling

To continue with your spelling work, please use the spelling Frame website and revise any of the spelling rules from Year 4 and the Year 5 rules
